5.05% Annual Percentage Yield (APY) paid on balances between $0 and $25,000, and a 0.20% APY paid on all amounts above $25,000 each cycle the minimum requirements are met. If you do not meet the requirements per cycle, your account will still function as a free checking account earning 0.20% APY, however it will not receive ATM refunds for that time period. To qualify, debit card purchases must post during the qualification cycle, which is the period beginning one day prior to the current statement cycle through one day prior to the close of the current statement cycle. ATM transactions are not considered debit card transactions. Rates as of January 1, 2009. We may change the interest rate and APY at any time after the account is opened. No minimum balance required.
